[September 7th, 2022 – Summerland, Canada] – Crush Dynamics Inc. (“CDI” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Notice of Allowance for the Company’s U.S. Patent Application No.: 16/882,317, System, Method, Process and Nutrient-Rich Product Derived from Wine Derivatives.
The Notice of Allowance means that the USPTO will issue the patent after certain formal steps have been completed.
This confirms that this CDI intellectual property can be protected. Once the patent issues, it will cover aspects of CDI’s uniquely developed bio-mechanical approach to processing wine making derivatives for use in food production.
“Registering business aligned intellectual property protection around our assets is a key element of our value creation strategy. This allowance for a new patent affirms the uniqueness of CDI’s processes and products (technology) and its attributes of converting pomace into high performance food ingredients. We look forward to continuing to build on our patent portfolio as we continue to grow.” said Kirk Moir, CEO of Crush Dynamics Inc.
The Company’s proprietary food ingredients enable its customers to launch new food products with superior taste and texture more cost-effectively while delivering on consumer demand for increased sustainability and nutrition.
